In Jaco we stayed at a quaint little place called Vista Pacifico. Since we made these reservations back in Memphis, we decided to go with a small locally owned place that had top ratings on Trip Advisor. It was up a mountain so we weren't right on the beaches of Jaco and away from the crowded streets. What a hidden treasure it was! It is owned by a Canadian couple, Greg & Jan, who went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful one. It only had 7 rooms, so we met other people by the pool and at breakfast and enjoyed every minute of this place. Our room had a kitchen which was really nice, the kids slept downstairs and our room was upstairs. We even had a third floor crows nest with 360 degree views of the mountains and the ocean. Awesome. We will definitely go back.
such beautiful views
the kids swam and swam
and found animals at night...Greg told us later this frog is poisonous...ooops
these little geckos were everywhere and would even chirp...it was cool seeing this one change color from dark gray to yellow when it was by the light
the kids slept really well here
the view of the rolling hills at breakfast
great free breakfast by the pool each morning
Will taking a break from playing "riding the bull"...the kids new favorite pool game with him...they wore him out every day!
there's our room on the end...you could fall out the door into the pool
like I've said before...Will loves mamon chinos
View of Jaco in the background
