We were invited to church on Sunday by a driver named Fernando who took us home from the airport. He and Will have been hanging out some and when he heard about the background of our home church he thought we would like this one. It is a PCA church plant through MTW missionaries. It was great! It was about 20 minutes away up on a mountain in Alejuelita. There were probably 50 people there and everyone was very friendly. The sermon was all in Spanish and the preacher preached for about an hour straight. During the preaching the children were taken to a back room where they did a little lesson. Emma said she liked it a lot and her teacher did speak some English. There was a dog wandering in and out the whole time and a rooster began crowing at the end during communion. Very different from Germantown that's for sure! I recognized a lot of the hymns we sang and attempted to sing them in Spanish. It was a neat time and I'm so glad we went.
